SIMC also gives space to debates and discussion, collaboration, learning, and skill-building. Marketing Society, known as MarkSoc focuses on the first three critical Ps of marketing—Product, Price, and Place—through a range of activities designed to inculcate practical knowledge. Tarq is a debating society that is instrumental in carrying out debate competitions at SIMC.

Symbiosis Film Festival (SFF)

The Symbiosis Film Festival (SFF) organized by SIMC, provides a platform for national and international short film directors, artists, technicians, industry experts, and cinephiles to come together and immerse themselves in cinematic magic for two days.

The two-day event is held at SIU's Lavale and Viman Nagar campuses.

Symbiosis Film Festival aims to

  • Provide educational and networking opportunities for participants.

Comvisage (MBA - CM)

The Corporate Interface Team’s flagship event is known as COMVISAGE, which is a two-day communication summit comprising of corporate talks and workshops delivered by notable speakers from the industry.

Behind The Scenes (BTS) - AV

BTS (Behind the Scenes) is the flagship corporate event for the Audio Video specialization batch at SIMC. This event serves as a platform for students to showcase their skills in audio and video production while interacting with industry professionals.

The Fifth Estate is the flagship corporate event for the Journalism specialization batch at SIMC (Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication).

This event brings together aspiring journalists, industry experts, and media professionals to explore the evolving landscape of journalism. The two-day festival celebrated by the students of SIMC focuses on communication, creativity, music, and fun. It is an immersive event, blending various artistic expressions and interactive experiences.
