MBA(Communication Management) SNAP Registration


Admission Details

Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes). However, their admission will be provisional and subject to their proof of graduation with 50% marks or equivalent grade by the beginning of the second semester.

  • Applicants expecting their final year results can also apply. However, their admission will be provisional and subject to their furnishing proof of graduation with 50% marks or equivalent grade by the beginning of the second semester.

Application Procedure

Application to SIMC's MBA(Communication Management) Programme is a two-step process.

Step 1: Apply for SNAP 2017

  • Visit www.Snaptest.org for application form and all information related to SNAP 2017.
  • Register for SNAP 2017 and make payment.
  • Upon payment, a SNAP ID and password is generated which will be essential to fill up online form for SIMC Pune's MBA(CM) Programme.
  • Appearing for SNAP 2017 exam is compulsory for seeking admission to SIMC's MBA(CM) Programme.

Step 2: Programme Registration for MBA(CM)

  • Only those candidates who have registered and paid for 'SNAP 2017' will be eligible to apply for MBA(CM) program.
  • After completing the payment for the SNAP 2017, you will find the tab for SIMC-MBA(CM) registration.

Step 3: Post clearing the SNAP entrance, the 2nd Phase involves appearing for GE-PIWAT

Here is what all you need to know about this process

  • Four components are involved in the process. A non-gated personality assessment test, Group Exercise, Written ability Test and Personal Interaction.
  • Group Exercise will include activities to asses aspirants in areas like Innovation and creativity in problem solving ,Team skills, Time Management etc.
  • Written Ability Test will include questions to assess the creative analytical skills of the person.
  • The Personal Interaction round will be to assess candidates on parameters such as interpersonal skills, communication skills academic proficiency etc.

NOTE: * Hostel fees are subject to change (campus & accommodation type wise, e.g. single sharing, Twin sharing, Triple sharing, Four sharing, Dormitory.) The hostel fee of Rs. 70,000/- per annum used for calculation above is for a Three seater room & the fees are different for Two seater, Four seater, Dormitory room. The actual charge will be based on type of room available / alloted. Hostel fees could increase by, upto 10% over the period of the programme.
