Ms. Dhara Shah

Research Associate

Ms Dhara Shah works with the Symbiosis Centre for Research in Media and Creative Industries. Her research interests include film heritage, exhibitions, and creative and experience economy. She jointly worked with Dr. Abhishek on a grant received from the International Federation of Television Archives (IFTA), studying the role of archivists in neoliberal audio-visual archives in India.

She is deeply passionate about exploring music, delving into cinema history, and expressing her creativity through her artistic skills.

She recently presented her co-authored works on - cinema multiplexes and F&B at the Media Industries Conference 2024 at King's College, UK; Women in Creative Industries in India and the use of social capital at the Women and Leadership in Creative Industries Conference organized by Bournemouth University, UK.
