Advertising club 
'Ad-itude', the Advertising Club facilitates students to take up practical
projects and activities pertaining to the advertising industry. The club
facilitates interactive workshops conducted by industry stalwarts. It aims to
bring about in depth analysis and appreciation of the ad world by studying its
historic and recent developments. An environment of creativity and informed
appreciation through various activities is ensured. The club is also
responsible for several branding activities of the institute.

Film club
The Film club is a platform for film buffs to pursue their interest in
films, through extensive exposure
to works of exemplary film-makers. The members of the club are also encouraged
towards a critical appreciation and analysis of the films viewed. The club
holds weekly screenings followed by a discussions. There are also tentative
plans to organize a film festival this year.

Print club
The print club is a forum for writers and budding journalists. The first
activity of the year 2007 was a Newspaper Analysis session, where each member
of the club took up a national daily or regional newspaper, analyzed and
evaluated it on different parameters. The club also brings out a Campus
Newsletter, the first issue of which is entitled Ice Breaker. Over the year,
the club is expected to hold writing workshops and help students publish their
articles/features in various newspapers.

PR club
The Public Relations Club encourages students to take up activities relating to
public relations in the industry. The club organized a survey on 'How Well Do
you Know your City?' for the Freshers. It has also, in co-ordination with the
Events Club been involved with organizing the convocation.

Events club
The Events club offers an opportunity for aspiring professionals to hone their
skills in event management. By organizing several college events, the students
are exposed to the different facets and areas of Event Management. Last month,
Urvashi Kadam, PR, Genesis was invited to share her knowledge and expertise
with the students. The first major club activity organized by the club was the
Socials for the batch of 2009. The club is also chiefly responsible for
organizing the Convocation of the Batch of 2007.

Culture club
The culture club is a potpourri of talent. With music, dance, drama under its
umbrella, it should suffice to say that it takes care of the entertainment
factor at SIMC. The club has organized a play by Tom Alter, on the 12th August
2007. It has also been involved in forming the college band. Over the year, the
club will also invite speakers to share their expertise in their respective
fields and perhaps also hold some interactive sessions, such as workshops with
the students.

Literary club
The literary club is engaged in organizing literary events, organizing creative
writing workshops and poetry reading sessions. It also encourages discussion of
exemplary literary works.
